Meet Rocio, Founder & Creative Director
Hi, I'm Rocio, the heart behind Heaven Sent by Ro.
My journey into the events industry wasn't something I had always planned. Before finding my way here, I built my career in structural engineering, where I developed an appreciation for precision, thoughtful design, and the many moving pieces that must come together to create something lasting.
But life had other plans.
After experiencing the unexpected end of an engagement, I found myself at a crossroads. The future I had once envisioned looked different, and I had to learn to embrace a new direction. What initially felt like an ending became an opportunity to rediscover myself, pursue a long-held passion, and build something that felt entirely my own.
That experience changed the way I see life's milestones. I understand that not every story follows a traditional timeline, that plans don't always unfold as imagined, and that meaningful moments don't have to look a certain way to be beautiful.
It's a perspective I carry into every celebration I plan. I never want clients to feel that their experience has to fit a particular mold or live up to someone else's expectations. I want them to feel comfortable being themselves, embracing their traditions, honoring their relationships, and celebrating life exactly as it is.
Heaven Sent by Ro grew from that belief: that every chapter deserves to be celebrated, every story deserves to be heard, and there is beauty in the moments we create along the way.

My Dominican heritage and lifelong love for Italy have deeply shaped my perspective on celebrations.
Growing up with Dominican roots taught me that gatherings are about so much more than the occasion itself. They are about family, tradition, music, food, heritage, and the beautiful ways we come together to honor one another.
And then there is Italy. Since I was eight years old, I've felt an inexplicable connection to this country. Over the years, that childhood fascination grew into a deep appreciation for its culture, architecture, traditions, and the art of finding beauty in everyday details.
These influences have shaped not only who I am, but also the experiences I hope to create through Heaven Sent by Ro.
I believe the events industry should make room for every culture, every tradition, and every kind of love. I want clients to see themselves reflected in their celebrations, knowing that the details that make their stories unique are welcomed, valued, and thoughtfully represented.
From New England to Italy and Latin America, I'm inspired by the opportunity to bring people, places, and traditions together through meaningful experiences.
